Abadi is a specialized journal in the fields of architecture and urbanism, affiliated with the Deputy of Urban Development and Architecture at the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of Iran. The journal is dedicated to examining scientific approaches and research related to Iranian urbanism and architecture. With a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and employing appropriate mechanisms for scholarly publication, Abadi aims to serve as a credible and reliable reference for researchers and scholars in future investigations.

The ultimate goal of Abadi is to publish articles and research in urban planning and architecture with a focus on innovation, creativity, and the development of both theoretical and practical solutions. It seeks to provide a strong theoretical foundation for disciplines such as urban planning, regional planning, historic city and building restoration, urban design, architecture, history and studies of Iranian cities and architecture, landscape architecture, urban sociology, urban economics, urban law, and other critical fields that contribute to the development, preservation, and revitalization of urban culture and urban life.

The journal’s approach to article acceptance includes a focus on theoretical foundations and the advancement of urban planning knowledge, architectural design principles, critical analysis of urban issues and human habitats, operational and applied research, and methods and techniques of design and implementation within the global body of knowledge on urbanism and architecture.
