Every discipline is founded on certain principles and assumptions, which are analyzed within the philosophy of that field. These assumptions play a crucial role in steering the discipline toward either wisdom-oriented (philosophy-based) or secular perspectives. Ontology, epistemology, anthropology, and axiology are among the essential presuppositions of a discipline. These four domains undoubtedly influence the vision and perspective of the architect. This research, utilizing a descriptive-analytical method, seeks to analyze the correspondence between the existential and perceptual dimensions of the architect and the dimensions of existence to classify the types of architectural knowledge production. The findings reveal that the relationship between existence and the architect is systemic and networked. A systemic perspective on architectural works, aligned with a systemic theory, represents a wisdom-oriented approach that harmonizes architectural works with the phenomena of existence. This harmony arises from the order inherent in existence, which is stable and resilient. If architectural systems align themselves with existential systems — with the physical realm corresponding to the material world (Nasut), the formal and geometric realms aligning with the imaginal world (Mithal), and the realm of meaning reflecting the intelligible world (Aql) — it can be anticipated that architectural knowledge will achieve wisdom-oriented realization.
