The façade, as the primary interface between humans and the surrounding environment, should adhere to principles and rules that must be considered during the implementation phase. However, in many cases, inadequate attention has been given to the design and construction of urban buildings, particularly regarding contemporary facades in Iran. The entry and development of new urban thoughts have led to the emergence of diverse styles and approaches in façade and ornamentation, emphasizing flexible methods and innovative design. This research focuses on analyzing the diversity and expansion of urban aesthetics in various façade styles and their integration into architecture and urban contexts. By reviewing and categorizing various approaches in contemporary architecture and their visual impacts on urban culture, this study evaluates the interaction of multiple concepts and provides a comprehensive analysis of urban facades in Tabriz. Using a descriptive-analytical method, the study examines data and information from both field and library studies to explore the relationship between traditional and modern facades in Tabriz. Despite the existence of regulatory principles, the findings indicate a lack of coherence and consistency in façade design and ornamentation in Tabriz, with numerous visual inconsistencies observed across different structures. The results underscore the necessity of applying specific design solutions to improve the integration and quality of urban facades, ensuring compatibility with the architectural identity and urban context of Tabriz.
